Clinton, N.Y. -- The eighth-ranked men's lacrosse team improved to 8-1 on the season after defeating Hamilton 15-8. Juniors Logan Bobzien (Arapahoe/Littleton, Colo.) and Matt Nelligan (Pingree School/Rowley, Mass.) tallied seven points each to lead the Bombers' attack.

Ithaca led 3-2 after the first quarter and the Continentals tied the game 2:45 into the second quarter. The Bombers then scored four of the next five goals to take a 7-4 lead at halftime. Bobzien opened the second half scoring 13 seconds into the third period as Ithaca scored six of the seven third period goals to put the game out of reach.

Bobzien finished with four goals and three assists on the evening and Nelligan added five goals and two assists. Junior Kevin Bush (Arapahoe/East Point, Fla.) added two goals and one assist and sophomore Mike Cintineo (Honeoye Falls-Lima/Honeoye Falls) registered one goal and one assist. Senior Dennis Butler (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) made 10 saves to improve in 8-1 on the year.

The Bombers return to action Saturday when they travel to Utica for a 1 p.m. Empire 8 contest.
